Up next on Emily’s bucket list: go leaf peepin’ in northern New England. Her vision was of kaleidoscopes of color, quaint vistas, explosions of color, and no cell reception. Our trip didn’t disappoint.
Obviously, I jumped at the chance to drive the twisty roads of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. I mean, uh, I jumped at the opportunity to spend some time away with my lovely girlfriend.
Our 300 mile route through Keene, NH, the Green Mountains, and the Northern Berkshires dazzled with trees in beautiful transition. Reds, oranges, yellows, and greens were aplenty. We even took a detour to hike a bit of the famed Appalachian Trail.
It was a marvelous road trip with eye candy abound:
